Attachment rhinestone patches

HOW TO ATTACH A RHINESTONE PATCH

  1. Grab the supplies .

Get the supplies you need to iron the patch onto your clothes

  • Iron
  • Ironing board
  • Garment
  • baking paper
  • Rhinestone Patch

  1. Turn on the iron

The temperature of the iron depends on the fabric you want to iron the strass patch on. For fabrics that cannot be ironed, we recommend using textile glue to attach the strass patch.

Make sure that the iron's water tank is empty and the steam function is off.

  1. Place the garment flat on the ironing board

Lay the garment where the rhinestone patch will be placed flat on the ironing board. To ensure that the surface for the rhinestone patch is as flat as possible, first iron the spot where the rhinestone patch will be placed

  1. Place the rhinestone patch on the chosen spot.

Place the rhinestone patch on your garment. The adhesive side should be flat on the fabric where you want it.

  1. Place a sheet of baking paper over the rhinestone patch.

When you place the baking paper over the rhinestone patch, be careful not to accidentally move the patch . The baking paper protects the rhinestone patch and the surrounding fabric.

  1. Place the heated iron on the rhinestone patch.

Press the iron with circular movements on the fabric. Hold the iron with a circular movement on the strass patch for about 60 seconds. The heat of the iron will bond the glue layer of the strass patch to the garment.

Please note , because the rhinestone patch is thicker than a normal patch, turn the shirt inside out and iron the garment again from the inside or, if this is not possible, again from the back for better adhesion.

  1. Remove the iron and allow the rhinestone patch to cool.

Let the strass patch cool down and check if the strass patch is firmly attached by gently rubbing the edge with a finger. If it still rises, put the baking paper back and place the iron again and press, now for about 20 seconds. Preferably from the back because then you iron directly on the adhesive layer and it can then adhere well to the fabric.

  1. Washing and drying a garment with patches.

Always wash the garment with the rhinestone patch at 40 degrees and inside out. Please note that the garment with the rhinestone patch cannot go in the dryer.
